Michelle and Harsh celebrated their fusion Christian-Hindu wedding at The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Their wedding weekend brought 200 guests together for a beautiful celebration that honored both cultures and allowed their families to share every meaningful moment.
A Warm Welcome in St. Petersburg
The celebration began with a welcome cocktail the evening before the wedding. It gave guests time to connect, relax, and enjoy St. Petersburg before the wedding-day events began.
Hosting the weekend at The Vinoy also made the experience convenient for guests while providing a beautiful setting for every part of the celebration.
A Joyful Baraat
The wedding day began with Harsh’s energetic Baraat. Family and friends danced together as he made his way toward the ceremony, creating a joyful beginning to the day.
The music, Dhol player, and Baraat horse brought everyone together before the outdoor ceremony.
An Outdoor Fusion Ceremony
Michelle and Harsh held their ceremony outside at The Vinoy, surrounded by tropical greenery, white flowers, and the resort’s iconic pink architecture.
The ceremony combined meaningful Christian and Hindu elements in one shared celebration. Michelle wore a vibrant red bridal lehenga, while Harsh wore an elegant ivory sherwani.
By bringing both traditions together, the couple created a ceremony that felt personal, meaningful, and welcoming to both families.
From Ceremony to Celebration
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed lunch before preparing for the evening celebration.
The wedding continued with cocktail hour followed by the reception in The Vinoy’s Grand Ballroom. The timeline allowed enough time for lunch, photographs, outfit changes, ballroom preparation, and guest transitions.
An Elegant Ballroom Reception
The Grand Ballroom was transformed with a timeless design featuring white florals, greenery, candlelight, warm lighting, and natural wood chairs.
Michelle changed into an elegant white wedding gown, and Harsh wore a classic black tuxedo for the reception. The evening continued with their first dance, dinner, entertainment, and plenty of dancing.
Partial Planning Support
Michelle and Harsh had already begun planning their wedding when DA Event Planning joined them through our Partial Planning service.
We helped bring the remaining details together, coordinate the vendor team, organize the wedding-weekend logistics, and create a detailed timeline connecting the welcome cocktail, Baraat, fusion ceremony, lunch, cocktail hour, and reception.
Our team then managed the wedding day so Michelle, Harsh, and their families could remain present and enjoy every part of the celebration.
